Police in Newark requests the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of credit cards at a fitness gym on June 15.
Officers responded to a report about a theft that occurred around 3 p.m. at Blink Fitness, located on Ferry Street in the Ironbound section of the city.
According to police, the suspect was captured on surveillance video walking into the men’s locker room, then leaving to enter Snipes, a shoe store in the 100 block of Market Street and Footlocker, also located in the 100 block of Market Street, and Newark Best Cellular in the same block.
Police said the suspect used the victim’s bank cards in all three businesses to purchase numerous items.
