There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred in a section of Newark on Wednesday evening.
According to police, at approximately 6:40 p.m., police were called to the 800 block of South 15th Street to investigate reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after officers searched the area, there were no victims.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests reported.
