Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Friday, June 30.
According to police, at approximately 7:45 p.m., police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Hunterdon Street and 17th Avenue.
A male suspect discharged a handgun with no injuries reported.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.
The investigation is continuing Director Ambrose said.
