Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the suspect who defaced a building with a permanent marker on December 15.
Newark Public Safety Director Emmanuel Miranda Sr. stated that at approximately 11 a.m., a Black female was captured on surveillance video using a permanent marker to write on a building in the 300 block of McCarter Highway.
She wore glasses, blue pants, a black jacket, and black sneakers, Newark Police said.
Director Miranda Sr. urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
