Authorities in Newark seek the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who defaced the Newark Fraternal of Order Police building on January 24.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. stated that at approximately 10:20 a.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video using red spray paint to write on the façade of the building in the 50 block of Rector Street.
He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, and black pants, according to Newark officials.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695 8477).
