Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help in identifying an artists’ rendering of a male suspect who authoritites said is wanted for a robbery that occurred on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
Accoridng to police, at approximately 5:50 a.m., officers responded to a robbery call in the 100 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers were told by the victim that three suspects in a gray vehicle approached a male victim and robbed him at gunpoint.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital where he was treated for injuries then released.
While police are actively searching for this suspect and for his accomplices, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from city streets.
This investigation is ongoing.
