Newark Police requests the public’s help with identifying a suspect who stole a victim’s credit card and made several purchases on July 13.
Police say the victim reported to police that he parked his vehicle at 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of 12th Street.
According to police hours later, at 10:22 p.m., the victim’s wallet containing $60 was missing.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video using the victim’s credit card at a BP gas station located at 584 Springfield Avenue.
Police say he then used the card several times from 10:33 p.m. to 7:57 a.m.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
