Police in Newark reports that officers are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a person wanted for questioning in a robbery that occurred on Monday, August 10.
Police say the robbery occurred in the area of Nichols Street and Pulaski Street in Newark.
According to police, the suspect approached the elderly victim and struck him on the face several times while forcibly removing a gold chain.
The assailant is described as a male with a medium brown complexion, short dark hair with a muscular physique.
He was wearing a white tank top shirt, blue jean shorts, and brown boots at the time of occurrence.
