East Orange Police are looking for a suspect wanted for a strong-armed carjacking in the city on Monday evening.
Preliminary reports indicated that just before 6:35 p.m., police responded to reports of a carjacking in progress on South Harrison Street.
When police arrived at the scene, the victim reported that a male suspect had stolen their vehicle using force.
The vehicle is reportedly a blue 4-door 2017 BMW with an NJ licenses plate number "B80-MVA".
Police say the suspect sped away on South Harrison Street towards the city of Orange.
There were no serious physical injuries reported.
