Haledon authorities are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for an attempted armed robbery of a laundromat on Sunday morning.
According to a statement released by Haledon Police, at 1:30 a.m., the night attendant at the Family Laundromat on Haledon and Burhans avenues was robbed at gunpoint.
Police say it is alleged that a light-skinned Black or Hispanic male approached the attendant working the night shift and produced a handgun.
The male then proceeded to demand money from the attendant. The attendant stated that there was no money and the suspect fled with no proceeds, according to Haledon Police.
This incident is under investigation by the Haledon Police Detective Bureau.
