Police are investigating a fatal police-involved shooting that occurred during a hostage situation this afternoon.
ABC reported that the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. inside a pharmacy on Main Street in Keansburg.
It was reported that the suspect was shot by the police during the situation, and one officer was injured.
The injured officer was transported to Bayshore Emergency Medical Service in unknown condition.
It's also unknown whether anyone else was injured during the incident.
