There is an active search for a suspect who held up a Dunkin Donuts in Union early Monday morning.
The incident happened at the Dunkin Donuts located in the 1400 block of Stuyvesant Avenue just before 4:30 a.m. where a male suspect reportedly entered the establishment and implied that he was armed with a weapon then began to snatch cash out of the register while the employee backed away and took cover according to preliminary reports.
During the incident, the suspect motioned inside his coat to suggest that he was armed, but there are no reports of a weapon actually being shown according to reports.
The suspect then ran from the store with an unknown amount of cash reports said.
There were no physical injuries reported, and the store remained open for business.
The suspect remains at-large.
