Detectives in Newark are looking for a vehicle that was occupied by a suspect who fled the scene after his involvement in a shooting/robbery on Thursday, February 1st.
According to police, at approximately 10:52 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Park Avenue and Stone Street.
Units arriving at the scene found a male suffering a gunshot wound after an unidentified man robbed him of money and other personal items before firing a shot at him.
Police said the suspect sped away in the vehicle shown in the second image which is described as a dark blue, 2010-2014 four-door Toyota Camry.
While police are actively searching for the suspect and vehicle, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and removing him from Newark streets.
