Police in Newark reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in a section of the South Ward on Monday night.
It happened around 11:15 p.m. in the vicinity of 132 Goodwin Avenue.
Police arrived and found a shell casing, but after they searched the neighborhood, no injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
