Bloomfield Police have successfully apprehended Mr. Nahjere Hill, the suspect involved in a late December armed robbery at a local business.
Police say the incident took place at Omar’s Smoke Shop, located at 29 Bloomfield Avenue, on December 20.
According to the Bloomfield authorities, Hill was taken into custody and is facing charges related to robbery and weapons offenses.
The arrest followed an investigation into the events of that day when Hill allegedly entered the smoke shop armed with a weapon.
He is accused of demanding cash and subsequently fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported in connection with the robbery.
