Although traces of humidity linger, they are expected to diminish as the day progresses.
Today, The National Weather Service said the forecast promises mostly sunny conditions with a high near 83 degrees.
A light northwest wind will shift to the west, increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon, bringing a pleasant breeze that complements the mix of sun and clouds.
This balance makes for an ideal and comfortable afternoon to be outdoors.
As the evening approaches, NWS forecasters said skies will remain mostly clear with a low around 62 degrees, perfect for any nighttime plans.
