Sunday Sunshine Warms Morning, Makes for Beautiful Newark Breast Cancer Walk

Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

Good morning to my friends and family in Newark and the North Jersey Region.Isaiah HouseIt's a chilly start to your Sunday at 46 degrees, so if you're heading out for early service at your house of worship, you might want to bundle up.

But don't worry, sunshine is on the way, and it's shaping up to be a beautiful day ahead.

For those preparing to take part in the Newark 'Making Strides' Breast Cancer Walk on Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard (Broad Street), you'll need a warm jacket or sweater to start but expect to shed those layers as the sun heats up the morning, creating perfect walking weather.

It's a wonderful day to support breast cancer survivors and fighters and to honor those we've lost.

The National Weather Service predicts sunny skies, with a high near 74 degrees and light winds. As evening falls, expect clear skies with a low of around 52.

Enjoy your Sunday and good luck to all those participating in today's events!Isaiah House
