NEWARK NJ: A crash involving a Summit Police Department vehicle in the area of Osborne Terrace and Renner Avenue that happened at around 12:30 a.m. had EMS on the scene for injuries.
Police followed a vehicle into the city that refused to stop for cops in several municipalities before fleeing east on route 78 into Newark shortly before crashing in Newark's South Ward.
There were non-life threatening injuries reported for occupants of a civilian vehicle but no injuries to police officers.
The vehicle that was pursued is being reported as a Toyota Camry with a partial NJ license plate number "DAL" possibly out of East Ornage.
The suspect/s remain at-large.
