Police in Newark are investigating a strong armed robbery of a pedestrian that occurred last night in the city's Ironbound section. The suspects, only described as a group of black males, took personal possessions from a person walking in the area of Jefferson and New York Ave. shortly before 9PM.
The suspects was last seen fleeing in what's believed to be a black Ford Crown Victoria.
The victim was not injured during the robbery.
