A reported strong armed carjacking that occurred in Irvington has police investigating.
The incident was reported to police at around 4:15 a.m. on Sanford Avenue where police were advised of a grey Ford work van, with ladders on the roof, was taken by force by as many as 5 suspects shortly before police arrived to the scene.
The suspects reportedly sped away in an unspecified direction on Sanford Avenue according to the victim.
There were no injuries reported.
