Police in Hillside are investigating a carjacking that happened in the city this morning.
According to reports, police are looking for a 4-door white 2010 Beamer X5 with a reported NJ license plate number, "W33-CJH" that was last seen traveling on Elizabeth Avenue towards Newark at around 7:30 a.m.
The vehicle was taken while the female driver was reportedly dropping off a child at a day care center in the city when a black male suspect with dreads jumped into the running vehicle and took off.
There were no injures reported.
