Authorities in Newark are on the search for a carjacker that made off with a vehicle early this morning in the city's North Ward.
Police responded to reports of a carjacking that occurred in the 200 block of Park Ave. at around 2:30 a.m. where the suspect took a blue BMW X5 with a reported NJ license plate number "ZNM-63F".
The suspect did not produce a weapon.
There were no injuries reported.
