Police officials in West Essex County are looking into a shots-fired incident that caused property damage in Roseland Monday.
According to a preliminary investigation, Roseland Police detective responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Thackery Drive around 10:45 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a house on Thackery Drive struck by what appeared to be a stray bullet.
According to preliminary reports, officers found that the bullet went through the home's kitchen window, but no one suffered injuries.
Police believe that the bullet came from the direction of I-280.
The investigation remains active, ongoing and no arrests have been made.
