BAYONNE NJ: An armed robbery of a commercial establishment in the area of Avenue B and West 53rd Street had a swift police presence on the scene at around 7 p.m. where a description of the suspects was given to officers.
Multiple police units canvassed the scene searching for the suspect where they ultimately found a man fitting the description on 47th Street and Broadway according to reports.
The suspect was detained, and a toy gun was reportedly located in the area of 48th Street and Broadway.
There were no physical injuries.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
