Township officials alert residents that a New Jersey State Police helicopter will be landing in the area Tuesday afternoon but there’s no reason to be alarm.
According to authorities, on June 12th at approximately 2 p.m. the New Jersey State Police will be landing a helicopter on the playground of Washington School to reward students for reading over 1 million pages.
Officials advise parents and residents that the area around the school will be blocked by police vehicles to maintain safety for the landing of the helicopter.
