A facility used to train thousands around the Northeast portion of the country in the field of carpentry has opened its doors in New Jersey.
Officials at the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters was joined by New Jersey State Governor Phil Murphy, Congressman Frank Pallone, State Senator Joseph Cryan, State Assemblyman Jon Bramnick at the 10:00 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the state-of-the-art facility that is located at 75 Fieldcrest Avenue in Edison.
The Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) represents nearly 40,000 hardworking men and women in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania portions of Maryland,
The ribbon cutting ceremony is set to kickoff with state and local elected officials, local businesses/organizations, and other attendees touring the facility.
Contractors, architects, and developers that helped to construct the facility also attended the event.
