New Brunswick Police checked an address on Throop Avenue for evidence that would support an early Sunday morning stabbing incident.
Officials at St. Peter’s Hospital notified police when a person entered the emergency room suffering a stab injury.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was Initially reported as non-life threatening.
Circumstances behind what occurred during the incident is under investigation by New Brunswick Police and is in its early stages.
No arrests have been reported.
