Police reported serious but non-fatal injuries for a person stabbed in Jersey City last night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of an injured person in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Grant Avenue around 2:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found the severely injured person suffering stab wounds at that location.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center and is stable.
According to reports, detectives were called to the scene to investigate the motive for the stabbing.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
The incident remains under investigation.
