Police in Elizabeth are investigating a stabbing incident that left a 17-year-old teen injured over the weekend.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred Sunday evening at approximately 6:23 p.m. in the 500 block of Walnut Street.
EMS transported the unidentified victim to University Hospital suffering multiple stab wounds to the arm and stomach.
According to officials, he is currently listed in stable condition.
The stabbing remains under investigation by the Elizabeth Police Department.
