A crash closes a portion of Route 27 Tuesday afternoon.
According to the South Brunswick Police Department, officers are at the scene of a crash involving a car carrier trailer and a traffic pole in the area of Rt 27 and Laurel.
Officials urge motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
