Newark Police officials are investigating a shooting that resulted in property damage in the city's South Ward Sunday afternoon.
A ShotSpotter Device detected more than 13 rounds of gunfire near 378 Hunterdon Street around 4 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found multiple shell casings and after searching the area for victims, police found a damaged car struck by bullets.
