Police recovered shell casings at the scene of a shots-fired incident in a section of Paterson Tuesday night.
Gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Oak Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard, prompting police to the scene to investigate around 10:40 p.m.
Officer arrived and found shell casings, but after cops searched the neighborhood, no victims were located.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested at this time.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
