Newark Police are looking for a suspect wanted for firing a gun in a section of Newark's Central Ward Monday.
Gunfire rang out in the 282 Irvine Turner Boulevard area around 5:05 p.m., prompting a police investigation.
Upon arrival, police found shell casings, and witnesses reported that a dark-colored Honda Accord was observed fleeing the scene.
Police said a ShotSpotter device notified headquarters of multiple rounds of gunshots.
Authorities reported no injuries in the shooting.
