ShotSpotter Detects Over a Dozen Gunshots in Trenton Neighborhood

Trenton authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred late Saturday night, where over a dozen rounds were fired in a neighborhood.

According to police, a ShotSpotter device detected gunfire around 10:30 p.m. on Oakland Street, prompting officers to respond. 

Upon arrival, they secured the area and discovered numerous shell casings, confirming that a shooting had taken place.

After canvassing the neighborhood, officers found no reported victims, and the suspect had fled the scene. It remains unclear who the intended target was at this time.

No arrests have been made as the investigation remains active. 

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
