Police in Newark are investigating a shots-fired incident in a section of the city's West Ward on Sunday evening.
According to police, a ShotSpotter device alerted officers of a shooting near 480 South 20th Street around 8 p.m.
Police say officers arrived at the scene found shell casings in the neighborhood, but no victims were found after they searched the area. Police have not confirmed who the suspects' target was at this time.
Authorities believe the suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
