Shots Fired in Newark's West Ward: Vehicle Struck by Bullets

A shooting incident unfolded in Newark's West Ward on Tuesday evening, leaving a vehicle struck by bullets.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m., Newark Police swiftly responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 310 14th Avenue near South 16th Street. 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered clear evidence indicating that a shooting had taken place.

However, no victims were found after a thorough canvassing of the area.

During the shooting, a vehicle was struck by bullets, damaging the car. Fortunately, no occupants were inside the vehicle.

The suspect responsible for the shooting fled the scene and is currently at large.

Newark police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances and motive behind this violent act.
