Police in Linden are investigating a shooting that occurred in the city during the overnight hours.
According to preliminary reports, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 826 East Henry Street at approximately 1:25 a.m. where police arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred.
One person reportedly suffered a minor injury consistent to a graze wound to the head but there were no other injuries reported.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
