Authorities are checking area hospitals for possible walk-in victims after gunfire rang out on a Paterson street this evening.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that erupted in the 200 block of Rosa Parks Boulevard at approximately 4:35 p.m. where officers arrived to find evidence that a shooting occurred but no victims were located.
Officers taped off the area after finding several shell casings according to reports.
The shooting remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
