Shooting in Voorhees Township Under Investigation

Detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Voorhees Township Police Department are investigating the shooting of a man in Voorhees Township on Friday night.AdAccording to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Voorhees Township Police Chief Louis Bordi, the incident occurred on Friday, May 17, at approximately 11:13 p.m.

Officers from the Voorhees Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 73 and Cooper Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that one of the drivers, a 30-year-old male, had suffered a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital by ambulance, where he remains under treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.
