EMS transported a male victim to the hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen overnight in Camden.
Gunfire erupted in the 700 block of Ware Street shortly before 4 a.m. sending several police units to the scene where they found the male victim bleeding heavily after suffering an apparent gunshot wound.
His injuries were not reported to be life threatening.
Police set up a crime scene in the area where a search for a suspect came up empty.
The shooting is being investigated by the Camden Metro Police Department.
