Shooting in Paterson Leaves One Injured

On June 15, at approximately 3:41 p.m., Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of 10th Avenue and East 23rd Street following reports of a shooting, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes.GenceptzUpon arrival, officers found a 56-year-old male victim from Paterson who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. 

The individual was found inside a vehicle after gunfire rang out in the neighborhood. 

The victim was promptly transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Police have since identified a potential crime scene. The investigation is currently active and ongoing, with further details to be released as they become available.
