The Union County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a shooting at Mravlag Manor in Elizabeth that occurred Friday night, severely injuring one person.
According to preliminary information, police were called to the scene shortly before 9:50 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, units discovered an unidentified victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Immediate CPR was administered before the victim was rushed to the hospital for advanced treatment.
As of late Friday evening, officials reported the victim's injuries as severe.
The motive behind the shooting has not yet been determined, and the investigation is still active.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
