Police are on the scene investigating a shooting that left a male victim fatally wounded.
The shooting that occurred shortly before 6:30 PM in the 100 block of Harrison Place startled residents of this usually quiet neighborhood while they were making their way home from work according to residents on the block.
One resident said that she heard as man as six shots before police and investigators swarmed the area, setting up a crime scene, and searched for evidence and a possible suspect.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
