Police in Jersey City are investigating a shooting that took place early this morning in the city.
Reports of shots fired in the area of Wegman Parkway and Ocean Ave. sent police to the scene where a male victim around the age of 22-years-old was struck in the leg at that location.
EMS rushed the man to an area hospital where he is expected to survive his injury.
The shooting is under investigation by Jersey City Police.
