Officials at Jersey City Medical Center contacted police when a male gunshot victim entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds this evening.
Police officials said officers were sent to the hospital to speak to the victim who reported that a male suspect approached him in the vicinity of 108 Van Nostrand Avenue and began to fire shots in his direction just before 5:45 p.m.
The victims are listed in stable condition and expected to recover.
Police are now on the search for the suspect responsible for the shooting.
