A barage of gunfire that erupted in the 1100 block of Lansdowne Avenue early this morning connected on two people causing serious injuries.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 4:30 a.m. after multiple rounds of gunfire erupted in the area. Upon arrival, police found a male victim (around the age of 20-years-old) shot and suffering life threatening injuries. A female victim (around the age of 28-years-old) was located a short time later suffering a gunshot wound to the lower leg.
Both victims were rushed to Cooper Hospital where the male victim was not expected to survive. The female victim was expected to make a full recovery.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting.
