Paterson Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that erupted in one of the city's neighborhoods Sunday evening.
At approximately 5 p.m., gunfire erupted near 238 8th Avenue sending police to the scene to investigate.
Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting and a male suffering a graze injury at that location.
Police are trying to determine if the shooting is connected to an unoccupied vehicle found in the area of East 2nd Street and Curie Avenue in Clifton, which had a shell casing inside.
The shooting is under an active and ongoing investigation.
