Police in Jersey City are investigating a shots-fired incident in a section of the city on Tuesday morning.
At approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a shooting near 337 Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Several Jersey City officers arrived at the scene and found shell casings, but a search of the area indicated no victims.
Police believe the suspect fired at unidentified individuals near the intersection of Orient Avenue before fleeing the scene.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
