Jersey City Police are investgiating a shots-fired incident that occurred in the city on June 23.
According to police, residents in the 2300 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard contacted police after hearing what they believed were shots fired around 2 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found multiple shell casings, but after a search of the area, they were unable to find victims.
Police say residents initially believed that fireworks were going off in the area, so delayed in dialing 911.
The suspect remains at-large.
