Jersey City Police are investigating a shooting that rang out on a street in the city late last night.
Gunfire erupted in the 300 block of Randolph Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m. sending police to the scene where they performed an extensive search of the area for injured victims.
Officers did not find any victims struck by gunfire, but units searching the area found shell casings and other evidence according to reports.
The investigation remains active and going.
